ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

At First Due Fishing, we take pride in the quality of our rods and value our customers. We want you to have confidence in your purchase, which is why we provide the following One Year Limited Warranty:

Warranty Coverage

For a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date, if your rod is found to have a defect in materials or workmanship, First Due Fishing will rebuild your rod at no cost to you, except for a $25.00 shipping and handling fee.

To Qualify for Warranty Service

You must provide:

1. A copy of your receipt showing proof of purchase and the purchase date.

2. Three photos clearly showing the damage to the rod.

3. A written description of how the damage occurred.

Warranty Claim Process

1. Email your warranty claim, including the items listed above, to info@firstduefishing.net.

2. Once reviewed, our team will determine if the issue appears to be the result of a defect in materials or workmanship.

   • If approved, you will receive instructions to pay the $25.00 shipping and handling fee.

3. The customer is responsible for securely packaging and shipping the entire rod to:

   First Due Fishing
   196 East Ave North
   Battle Creek, MI 49017

4. Once received, we will rebuild the rod and return it to you as soon as possible. Most warranty claims are completed within 1–3 weeks.

5. If the damage is determined not to be caused by a defect in materials or workmanship, the rod will be returned to you without repair.

Warranty Limitations

• Open water rods broken within the top 20 inches of the blank are not covered.

• Ice rods broken within the top 5 inches are not covered.

• This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, or modifications.

Disclaimer of Implied Warranties

Other than the express One Year Limited Warranty provided above, First Due Fishing disclaims all implied warranties, including but not limited to the warranty of merchantability and the warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.
